In a recent study by Peoplemaps, they discovered that employers are potentially rejecting their most suited candidates because decisions are being made based on the strengths of a CV.
It was identified that a CV emphasises the experience, knowledge and educational aspects of a candidate, but it doesn't necessarily show how suitable they are for a position. For example a candidate may have the right temperament but be lacking in a certain aspect which could be corrected with training.
By relying on a CV, the candidate could be “sifted” out of going further to the shortlist. By using psychometric tests and personality profiling on every applicant you can identify candidates that are best suited for the job in the long term.
If you are in the process recruiting you should give consideration to these finding, a number of psychometric tests are available, at little cost, to help companies and employers find the most suitable candidate.
